What Is Line Editor?

What Is Line Editor?
A line editor is primitive type of editor. It requires to specify a specific line of text before you can made changes to it. A line editor does not display the text in the manner it would appear if printed.

* In a line editor, the cursor can't be used to move around and select a portion of the document.
*Any modification is restricted to the current line.
*Interaction with the editor is through a set of commands .This makes a line editor less user friendly.
